  The Safety Helmet That Nobody Wanted to Wear Sometimes the Rules You Ignore Today Become the Regrets You Carry Tomorrow. Every morning at 7:00 a.m., the workers arrived at the construction site. Coffee cups in hand. Steel-toe boots covered in yesterday's dust. Jokes echoed across the yard as another busy day began. Among them was Daniel. He was experienced. Hardworking. Well-liked. He had worked on construction sites for nearly twenty years and proudly believed there wasn't much he hadn't seen.
