Ensuring health and safety in the workplace is essential for all businesses in the United States.

Non-compliance can have severe financial repercussions and is not worth the risk of potential injuries on duty.

The recent construction accident in Atlanta, Georgia, is a tragic example, with many fatalities reported. Preliminary signs point to non-compliance, and it’s anticipated that claims could amount to millions of dollars.

For small businesses, implementing a health and safety plan is a critical starting point. Not only does it ensure compliance, but it also demonstrates to employees that their well-being is a priority, which can boost motivation and morale.

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) is a legal requirement for all businesses, and adherence can prevent legal penalties, enhance reputation, and even lead to financial benefits by reducing costs associated with workplace incidents.
